LACK OF SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILL

post by syamimi....
For me,lack of social and communication skills is one of the factor why unemployment among graduates in Malaysia happens. It is because the employer will sure hire the graduates that have experiences and skills like soft skills. For example, during the interview session, many of them can't to be more confident but then the level of their confident is low...

As i mention before, i don't agree with the tittle 'lack of social and communication skill'. That not the major problem for the graduates can not find a job in Malaysia.
Back to our skill learning at secondary, we are exposed in the theory subject such as history, geographies, math and many again. But in the world of job today, that all are not useful or in other words the subject that we learn in secondary school are not balancing in the world to we get a job. These because the certificates or degree are not important and guarantee to us get a job.
We can see are people around us that just have the spm or stpm or nothing at all, get a job. Why these all happen? Are there something wrong in our study since secondary? If the answer for this question,Yes, so what we should do? From the research also the article in Dewan Masyarakat,2006, graduates can not get a job just because of the poor syllabus of study in secondary and university that not balance in world of job today. In getting a job that have a lot of practical, the minister of education should add more the vocational school that refer to the job.Not just focus on the theory to get a lot of knowledge without practical.
